Shawn Palmer, PA-C
Full-time Physician Assistant
Seeing patients Monday thru Thursday
During normal hours of operation

I am from Idaho, born and raised.   I grew up in a small town, and loved just about every minute of it!  I went to school at BYU-Idaho for my bachelors degree, and then to Salus University in Philadelphia, PA for my Physician Assistant program.  My wife and I have 3 beautiful girls, and we all enjoy exploring the outdoors that are God's beautiful creations, and being together as a family.  I went into medicine because I like to help people, and love to learn about the body and its functions.  Health is such a precious part of our lives, and maintaining it is one of life's greatest challenges.   I look forward to helping our patients achieve their health goals, and enjoy this wonderful life!
Terry Schmitt, ANP
Well Woman and Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner
Seeing patients Thursdays and Fridays

My family and I moved to Lewis-Arriola in 1997. My husband and I raised our three children in this area. We own and operate a small cattle ranch outside of Lewis which keeps us rooted in this beautiful Colorado community. When not ranching or working, I enjoy spending time with family, volunteer work and gardening. I have always valued education and serving others.

I received my Associate of Nursing Degree from San Juan College in 1994. Later receiving a Bachelors of Nursing Degree from Mesa State University in 2007. The majority of my career has been in caring for the elderly population both as a nurse and later as an administrator.

In 2016, I received a Masters of Nursing from Maryville University and soon after became licensed as a Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. As a provider I look forward to serving Dove Creek and surrounding communities in Women’s health as well as primary care."
